Dating rumors have been blazing as "Riverdale" stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse were seen together catching an evening showing of "Baby Driver" with the former's mother and sister. The foursome watched the flick on Scotiabank Theater on July 28.

The on-screen power couple of "Riverdale" apparently took a break from filming last Friday. They are both in Vancouver, Canada together with their co-stars shooting for the show's second season after a fairly successful debut in January 2017.

The two instantly became fan favorites as their characters, Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) developed a budding romance.

But it seems like the chemistry is happening even between takes.

Sprousehart dating rumors

It was typical for fans to ship actors whose characters were romantically connected on a show. This was probably how Sprousehart was brought to life. It was the fans' endearing ship name for the two "Riverdale" actors.

But the rumors really began when Sprouse uploaded a photo of Reinhart on his Instagram account; the actress wearing a black dress in a poppy field. Soon after, the actress also uploaded a similar photo. Apparently, it was taken by Sprouse who also works as a successful photographer.

Since then, the dating rumors have spread like wildfire. Sprouse's only comment was, "Lili and I play characters who are dating, so just about any time she and I go out into the wilderness, it's, 'Oh, my God!' Truthfully, I'm a sucker for friends, fashion, and framing."

Possibly Dating?

With months of speculation, it wasn't until last week during the San Diego Comic-Con 2017 when the rumors seemed to have been proven true.

Multiple eyewitnesses claimed that Sprouse and Reinhart "could not keep their hands off of one another." There were also pictures of Reinhart wearing the actor's suit later during the event.

During their low-key movie date last Friday, the "Riverdale" stars were apparently caught seating beside each other as what an eyewitness said.

"There was no PDA but they did whisper to each other and laughed during the movie—they were in a happy mood."

After the movie, the source claimed they left in a rush as they were getting recognized by fans. A rep for Reinhart declined to give a comment about the rumor.

Still No Answer

Although the rumors have been going on for several months now, neither Lili Reinhart nor Cole Sprouse has confirmed their relationship status. So, until either of them does, it's best to take it with a grain of salt.
