Outlander” season 3 promises no less than heart warming episodes as it premieres on Starz Sunday this September. With Claire played by Caitriona Balfe getting deeper into the reality of her departure from Jamie, this season is truly something “Outlander” lovers would not want to miss.

The show recently launched a community made for its followers to keep them updated even before the much awaited “Outlander” season 3 premiere, starring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. The community features stills, videos and stuff that fans can browse at should they be looking for archive from previous episodes or spoilers for the upcoming launch.

One of the photos featured shows Claire reading a newspaper looking distracted. The photo gives a clear glimpse into how Claire’s life is going on since she returned to Frank and decided to close the door that could lead her back to Jamie’s era.

Another photo that was shown was Claire's lovely stares at her daughter Brianna. Bree is the only person for Claire to feel connected to Jaime.

Caitriona Balfe talks about empowering women

On the other hand, as the “Outlander” Season 3 fever gets more intense, lead star Caitriona Balfe speaks up about what she has not comfortable demanding about before, the ongoing wage gap.

The actress, however, stated that she is now one with the women who feel empowered.

Responding to a press event to a recent BBC published talents’ salary, Balfe revealed that she herself was not knowingly paid less than her male colleagues. She said that she found out just recently that her co-star Sam Heughan gets paid more than she does.

Balfe revealed that if she had found the thing out in the past, she would not have spoken, the "Outlander" star, however, spoke boldly how she is now very comfortable speaking for herself with regards to topics that have kept many woman silent for a long time. She also said that this is the season when a woman feels empowered to demand equal pay.

Outlander” season 3 is something to watch out for as it not only features a big twist on the Claire and Jamie story but also features a more empowered cast.
