While some fans were excited for the return of Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s series, others were left heartbroken after “Outlander” season 3 recently released a teaser which shows Balfe’s Claire being happy without her infamous husband, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).

According to a report from The Sun UK, a newly released teaser of “Outlander” season 3 suggested that Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will be living her life happily even without her husband Jamie. To recall, both Balfe and Heughan revealed that the separation between the couple will be very difficult.

However, in a video released by Starz on its official Twitter page, it has hinted that Claire will be happy with her daughter Brianna despite her separation from Jamie. In the video, Claire is seen pushing a kid’s stroller will all-smiles at Brianna while a desolate Jamie is then shown marching on in another cold place.

Some fans were quick to reply to the new tweet of Starz and expressed their distraught at the short video clip while others even suggested that Claire was clearly happier away from her husband than Jamie was without her.

Balfe calls Heughan’s ‘numpty’ after posting spoilers

Leading lady Caitriona Balfe branded her on-screen lover, Sam Heughan a “numpty,” which means stupid, after the latter shared spoilers on his Twitter account.

The 37-year-old Scottish actor was then forced to apologize to the fans and took down the post he retweeted and said: "Sorry for the spoiler you guys!!! Mistakenly saw post that wasn't official + reposted."

Fans reminded the actor that the photo had been circulating for few hours and that those who already read the book knew what was going to happen in the series anyway.

The much-anticipated print shop scene occurs Diana’s Gabaldon book titled “Voyage,” which is a fan-favorite scene of the novel series, second perhaps to the iconic wedding ceremony between Claire and Jamie.

When will Jamie and Claire reunite?

According to the series creator, Ronald D. Moore, the audience can expect that the third season will start with an individual story for the two main starts. He also revealed that it was made like that as they just take cues from the book.

According to Moore, the book laid out five episodic stories of Jamie. It tells the story of his life from “the Battle of Culloden to Lallybroch, to prison and Helwater and ends up in the famous print shop scene where he meets Claire after she returns to the past.”

“Outlander” season 3 will follow Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) living separate lives for two decades. It will premiere in September 2017 on Starz.
