“NCIS” Season 15 is already on a roll as the first exclusive photo of the CBS’ police procedural series was already released featuring the dangers that Mark Harmon’s Leroy Jethro Gibbs are facing while on a mission. Several theories and speculations have surfaced online including the actor’s alleged departure from the show although it was never confirmed by any of his representatives. It is also said that he will finally have a new love life in the person of a newcomer named Reagan, which rules out the possibilities of him leaving the show. Recently, a photo that was dropped shows his character in captivity with one of his colleagues while on a dangerous mission.
Gibbs and McGee are held captive
Entertainment Weekly released an exclusive first look of “NCIS” Season 15 featuring Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Sean Murray’s Timothy McGee being held captive by the rebels following their travel to Paraguay. They set off the journey in an attempt to track down a missing Navy SEAL, but the area is being controlled by the brutal rebels. According to EW, Gibbs and McGee are already incarcerated for two months once the series returns and their teammates in the U.S. don’t have any idea where they are and how to locate them.
“NCIS” Season 15 executive producer and showrunner Frank Cardea told EW that they had to apply a heavy makeup on Gibbs and Murray so they would appear gaunt as if they’re being beaten.
“Mark loved all that stuff,” he said. Apparently, there is already something to look forward to especially that Harmon has been surrounded by exit rumors. Speculations are rife that his health is deteriorating and his doctors allegedly asked him to rest for a while to recover his health. However, the actor never confirmed this but continued filming for the upcoming installment’s production instead.

“NCIS” Season 15 will have another newcomer following Jennifer Esposito’s exit as Agent Alex Quinn. Maria Bello is joining the cast ensemble in the upcoming installment as a series regular. Additionally, Michael Weatherly previously hinted the possibility of his character and some others to pop out on the show anytime soon.
He played as Agent Anthony DiNozzo, who quit his job to take care of his living daughter with Agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). David was killed during a mortar attack in Israel, but her body was never recovered. Thus, fans are hoping to see them again on the show one day soon.
