There are new stars coming inNCIS” Season 15 that will definitely make watching the new installment more worthwhile. Added with new details revealed by the show’s executive producer Frank Cardea, it will surely be another mind-blowing chapter.

In an interview with TV Line, the showrunner talked about the police procedural drama’s continuation. He also unveiled the future of Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) in Paraguay.

The first episode’s continuation

Frank Cardea revealed that “NCIS” Season 15 Episode 1 will exactly pick up where the previous season left off.

“We pick up where we left everybody off at the end of last season,” he told TV Line. The television producer revealed that there will be a lot of flashbacks about season 14’s final episode. This to remind the viewers what happened to Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Timothy McGee, who are both still in a great danger.

In fact, he even teased that the “world is going to come down” on these two agents. Two months later, Frank Cardea said that they are going to pick up the show back in Washington. However, Gibbs and McGee will still be stuck in Paraguay at that time.

To recall, the roles of Mark Harmon and Sean Murray made their way to Paraguay with Nicholas Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). The three were going to help free the children kidnapped by the rebel army.

Unfortunately, the offenders arrived the moment they were going to transport the kids with the helicopter. From there, the conflict started.

To secure the children’s protection, Leroy Jethro Gibbs decided to stay behind to face the mutineers. But Timothy McGee chose to stay with him so Nicholas Torres could take the kids and run free.

If ever McGee survives the event, Frank Cardea teased that he and Delilah (Margo Harshman) will be expecting their baby to come sometime in October, IBTimes reported.

Two new additions

Meanwhile, Maria Bello will be coming in “NCIS” Season 15 as another NCIS agent. She is a second lieutenant who has served two tours in Afghanistan and is the best forensic psychologist there is.

Her role is described as a “positive force, mischievous and at times acerbic.” She, too, might be Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ match in the agency, although they fully respect each other.

The 50-year-old actress has signed a three-year contract as the show’s series regular after being away from the small screen for awhile. The news emerged after the “Girl Meets World” star Cheryl Texiera revealed that she will also be seen in the upcoming television series.
