Pop star Justin Bieber is clear from any Criminal Charges for accidentally hitting a celebrity Photographer with his truck last month, authorities have confirmed.

On Thursday, Beverly Hills Police Lt. Elisabeth Albanese announced that investigators determined Bieber did not commit any violations and therefore will not face any charges. It was also noted that the Justin will not be issued citations for the incident.

Authorities added that the "Sorry" singer was cooperative after the accident, adding that he had no intent to hit the photographer when he left the place.

The accident

It can be recalled that last week, Justin accidentally struck a 57-year-old paparazzo with his monstrous Dodge Ram as he was driving out his parking space. The singer was leaving The City Church in Beverly Hills, California after his church service when the incident occurred.

The photographer, identified as Maurice Lamont, collided with Justin's truck that knocked him to the ground. The "What Do You Mean" singer immediately stopped and climbed out of his car to check on the injured man.

In the video released by TMZ, Bieber can be heard asking the photographer if he's okay or if he was injured. Lamont, who was clutching his leg on the ground, appeared to be in pain.

The singer seemed to be really worried about Lamont as he did not leave his side until the ambulance and authorities arrived.

Paparazzo was at fault for the accident

Meanwhile, authorities also revealed that the photographer was the one who's at fault for the collision. Apparently, Lamont was standing on the wrong side of the street. However, since it is considered a minor crime, he will not be facing any charges as well.

Reports also noted that a civil lawsuit against Justin is still possible but the singer has the advantage.

It was reiterated that the singer "had the right of way, was blinded by camera flashes, and the photographer was where he shouldn't have been."

Bieber back at church

On Thursday, Justin was spotted back at the church following the accident. The "Love Yourself" singer was photographed with his pastor, Judah Smith. Bieber appeared to be in good spirits as he even flashed a peace sign to the paparazzi.

It can be recalled that Justin canceled the rest of his Purpose tour to "rededicate himself to his religion." The singer shared a heartfelt message to his fans on Instagram addressing his decision.

In his lengthy post, Justin explained that his decision to cancel the tour was for him to be "sustainable." The 24-year-old singer appeared to be exhausted from all his hectic schedule and commitments, prompting him to take a break. "I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable," Bieber wrote. "So that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be and the father I want to be."
