Famous Actor Robert Hardy has passed away at the age of 91 and fans are left mourning the loss of one of the greatest actors to ever live. The early life of Robert Hardy

According to The Guardian, actor Robert Hardy first began his career in acting at the young age of 24-years-old as a member of the Shakespeare Memorial Company.

Once he has finished his time there Hardy then moved on to the Royal Shakespeare Company where in starred in a production of "Cornelius."

Hardy was well known for his role on the BBC series "All Creatures Great and Small" which ran for over a decade. Fans of the actor got to see him in the role of a senior vet by the name of Siegfried Farnon for 12 years. The actor also had several roles on the big screen over the span of his career including roles in "Sense and Sensibility" and "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein".

More recently, Robert Hardy was known for the role he played in the "Harry Potter" movie franchise as the minister for magic Cornelius Fudge. The author of the "Harry Potter" series J.K Rowling has shared her condolences with Hardy's family and stated that he was an extremely talented actor who was loved by all.

His children have made a statement

According to the BBC, Robert Hardy's children have released a statement about the passing of their father. His three children Emma, Justine, and Paul survive him and they have said that their father will forever be remembered as a linguist, an actor, a lover of music, a champion of literature and that they could not have been prouder to call Hardy their dad.
