On "Psych" Burton Guster was always seeking the love of his life but never finding her. In the final season, he was dating a young lady who looked like she was the one. But she moved out of the country and never returned. On the series finale, he was excited that Shawn proposed to Juliet, and Gus accepted the proposal on both their behalf. Now it seems that Gus gets the girl in a new holiday movie.

Dule and Burton get the girl

"Psych" the television series ran for eight seasons on the "USA" network. The show developed a cult following of fans who are known as "Psychos." When castmates Dule Hill and James Roday announced the series would end three years ago, fans were devastated.

Recently, "USA" announced that "Psych the Movie" is in production, and will air in December of 2017. Gus will find the girl of his dreams, who will be portrayed by Jazmyn Simon who is Hill's real life girlfriend.

It was announced in June, that Hill and Simon were engaged and that she would play his love interest in the movie. On August 21st, Duke Hill and "Psych" co-star James Roday did a promo for the movie during "Monday Night Raw." On the season finale of the television series, Roday's character Shawn Spencer proposed to Juliet as Gus looked on with tears in his eyes. Now it seems that Burton Guster will have his day and get the girl.

Shawn Gus and Juliet

During the eight year run of "Psych," Shawn and Gus had a true friendship and a Bromance like no other.

Juliet began dating Shawn knowing that he and his pal were a package deal. The three of them were always in sync, but oddly none of the women in Burton's life seemed to fit. Psych fans AKA psychos can only hope that Jazmyn Simon will have chemistry with not only Dule Hill, but the rest of the cast as well.

Everyone on the television series accepted Spencer and Guster as a package deal because they had been childhood friends.

It would be nice if Hill's real life fiancee works out on the screen and also in real time. James Roday and Maggie Lawson dated both on and off the show, but as Julie and Shawn were getting engaged, their real life counter parts were breaking up.

"Psych the movie," is going to be a big hit with the loyal fans, And airing promos during "WWE" events will bring much publicity as well as new followers. Whether or not Gus obtains his happily ever after remains to be seen. If the movie stays true to form he may not. At least in December, for the duration of the feature film, he will get the girl.
