While there’s still a month left for “Grey’s Anatomy” season 14 premiere to happen, a lot of information about the popular ABC show’s story line, cast members and possible spoilers have already flooded the internet.

Upcoming season to focus on Alex-Jo-DeLuca love triangle

According to TVLine, the upcoming “Grey’s Anatomy” season 14 will focus on Jo Wilson’s (Camilla Luddington) love life. Jo’s estranged husband Paul (Matthew Morrison) will return back in the show. In the last season, Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) developed strong feelings for Jo.

Meanwhile, Alex (Justin Chambers) is also yet to express his feelings for Jo. He finally came face-to-face with Paul in the end of the last season. So, the Alex-Jo-DeLuca love triangle will definitely be an interesting angle to watch.

In an interview with TV Guide, Camilla Luddington revealed that Jo might develop some serious feelings for DeLuca in the next season. The actress said that she can imagine Jo feeling jealous if DeLuca started dating somebody else. However, fans should not expect a DeLuca-Jo romantic angle to begin soon as Jo first needs to deal with her past before moving into a relationship with someone else.

Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) and Meredith confessed feelings for each other in the last season.

Megan’s possible return in the show might affect their newly-blossomed relationship.

ABC show’s cast details

According to latest spoilers, fans will see DeLuca’s sister Carina (Stefania Spampinato) enter Sloan Memorial Hospital as a new doctor. Interestingly, this won’t turn out to be a happy reunion for DeLuca as he will be uncomfortable with his sister’s entry.

The show will explore DeLucas' backstory. So, fans can expect a lot of sibling drama ahead in the new season.

Kim Raver will reprise her role as Dr. Teddy Altman in the upcoming season of “Grey's Anatomy.” She will reportedly appear in a guest arc. Timeless actress Abigail Spencer will also join the show’s star cast as Owen's (Kevin McKidd) sister Megan Hunt.

Notably, Bridget Regan, who played Megan’s character last season, won’t be able to reprise the role as she is busy filming TNT's The Last Ship.

"Grey’s Anatomy” season 14 will return on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, on ABC with a two-hour episode. The season 14 premiere will be directed by Debbie Allen (who plays Catherine Avery) who has also directed the season 13 finale episode.
