Girls' Generation is back in celebration of the group's 10th Anniversary with their sixth album "Holiday Night". On August 7 as the physical album was released and available in stores, the album promotions started as the group held a sleepover themed livestream, starring their own “LieV” on Vlive, a popular Livestream platform in South Korea where artists can connect with their fans worldwide through different formats of "live shows".

During the live show, the 8 girls discussed their 10th Anniversary as well as their new album “Holiday Night” while wearing pajamas in a cute bedroom set.

The livestream was English subbed and watched by over 300,000 fans worldwide, receiving more than 25 million hearts.

The comeback fans have waited for 2 years

Their last album "Lion Heart" was released two years ago, making this comeback even more special for their thousands of fans worldwide.

For “Holiday Night”, individual teasers of the eight members were released daily in the same order they were first introduced to the public back in 2007. The teasers started on July 26 with Yoona and ended on August 2 with Sunny. Each member graced the fans with a video teaser, six individual pictures, and a song preview.

On August 4 at 6 PM (KST) the digital release of their full album "Holiday Night" and music videos of title tracks "Holiday" and "All Night" were released.

The album charted #1 on iTunes in 20 countries, setting a record of the first K-pop Girl Group to do so.

Busy Comeback Schedule

Following the album release, the group has a really busy schedule ahead of this milestone celebration. On August 5 they met their fans through a fanmeet that was held at the Olympic Hall of Fame in Seoul, South Korea.

The event was entitled A Holiday To Remember and was sold out very quickly. The two title tracks "Holiday" and "All Night" were performed for the first time during the fanmeet, as well as a fun Q&A with the members and other surprises.

A fansign on August 11 has also been confirmed. There will be fansign tickets randomly placed on 100 copies of their album, and the lucky fans that get those tickets will have the chance to be face to face with all Girls' Generation members and get their autographs.

Other fansign dates are expected to be confirmed through the album's promotion period.

The girls will also be appearing on popular Korean TV shows such as "Knowing Brothers," "Running Man," and "Happy Together" as well as radio and weekly music shows. All eight members are working hard to make this comeback special for their fans.
