"The Winds Of Winter" is the sixth installment of the epic fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George RR Martin. While "A Dance with Dragons" covered less story that the New Mexican writer author intended,"TWOW" is expected to take its avid readers farther north than any of the previous books.
Thousands of fans around the world are stoked for the forthcoming launch of “The Winds Of Winter” book. However, George RR Martin has confirmed that he is not ready to publish the much-awaited book yet.

Christian Today reported that George RR Martin is still a few months away from finishing “The Winds of Winter” book.
According to the veteran writer, he is not done with the novel yet since he currently has a lot of things to do.
"I am still working on it, I am still months away (how many? good question)," Martin wrote on Twitter "I still have good days and bad days, and that's all I care to say,” "The Winds of Winter" author added on.
There is no denying that George RR Martin is among the busiest authors alive today. As a matter of fact, the 68-year-old writer previously launched a non-profit film studio called Stagecoach Foundation in Santa Fe, New Mexico in March 2017.
Reports have it that Stagecoach is going to be a home for budding filmmakers, who want to hone their skills and talents in producing movies.
Additionally, the new facility is expected to become an avenue where professional and neophyte filmmakers can collaborate and exchange ideas with one another.
Aside from that, “The Winds of Winter” author is also busy writing the scripts of the imminent five “Game of Thrones” spinoffs. George RR Martin revealed that he hired five assistants to help him finish the scripts before the given deadline.
Despite this, Martin vowed to his avid fans that he will be focusing more “The Winds of Winter” novel before he proceeds to work on another book series. He also hinted that the much-anticipated sixth book of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series might be launched in 2018.
Original ‘TWOW’ plot revealed
Meanwhile, Vanity Fair shared that a great war is about to come in “The Winds of Winter” book.
Explosive spoilers of George RR Martin’s original plotline were leaked by British book seller Waterstones via Twitter.
According to the tweet, a great danger is coming from the north where bloody wars and chaos will occur. The spoilers even suggested that the Night’s Watch’s story is going to be the focus of “The Winds of Winter.”
“The final battle will also draw together characters and plot threads left from the first two books and resolve all in one huge climax,” Martin’s original plan read. The leaked manuscript was validated by HarperCollins but the explosive Twitter post was later deleted, The Independent reported.
Up until now, George RR Martin has not yet announced the official release date of “The Winds of Winter.” So, avid followers of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” book series should take all these speculations with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more spoilers and updates!
