Season 7, the final installment of "Game of Thrones," is well underway, and everyone is dying to know who will make it through to the end. In this show, having your favorite character just survive is a big deal, forget them eventually sitting on the Iron Throne.

At the end of "Game of Thrones" Season 6, there were some interesting developments. Arya is back and taking things into her own hands in Westeros, Jon Snow is King in the North, Cersei is on the Iron Throne, and the ominous winter is finally here.

The questions now is - who will be lucky enough to survive the show?

Game of Thrones cast answer whether their character will survive to the end

Although there are many theories about who will survive, no one knows for sure. USA Today spoke to a number of cast members about their predictions for who survives the popular HBO series. Indira Varma, who plays Ellaria Sand, is placing her money on her own character. With a slight chuckle, she says "Definitely. She's going to get the throne."

Jerome Flynn, the actor who portrays Bronn, seems a little less confident about his own character. Flynn says he's "pinning his hopes on" Bronn's comedic relief, which thankfully does provide rest from the twisted tendrils that is "Game of Thrones."

John Bradley, better known as Samwell Tarly, is pretty confident about his own character.

He says that there must be a reason that his character is still alive, when most people "if they were to put money on it, would have bet on him expiring a long time ago."

Conleth Hill is a little more 'pessimistic' about his chances, saying that he thinks "Varys will go before it's over." According to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, "No one will survive to the end."

Game of Thrones - Will Jon Survive?

Kit Harington seemed a little crestfallen about what will happen to Jon Snow.

He says he knows what is going to happen to Jon but he doesn't want to say anything. "I hope he finds some peace in some way," says Harington. Things are not looking too bright for the King in the North.

Alfie Allen says his character, Theon Greyjoy, has been "hanging on by a thread" for a while now. Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth, says he has no clue about who will survive.

He says that ever since season one, when Ned Stark died, "no one is safe."

"Game of Thrones" is notorious for its reputation for killing off characters. In fact, hardly any of the characters from Season 1 are left in Season 7.

Season 7- Close to the End

"Game of Thrones" is nearing its end. With Season 7 well underway, and Season 8 being the final one, things are wrapping themselves up, and whether all our questions will be answered is still a mystery. We've said goodbye to many loved characters over the season, and there is no doubt we will say farewell to a few more before this season is over.

May your favorite character survive the winter.
