"Game of Thrones" season 7 is shaping up to be an exciting season. Daenerys finally flew her dragons around Westeros, taking out the Lannister army and barely losing any of her own. Drogon did take a hit on his shoulder thanks to the "Scorpion," but it doesn't seem to have done any permanent damage. Episode 5 will continue Daenerys' power play, as she warns everyone to Bend The Knee.

Which side is Tyrion Lannister

While there are plenty of questions about the other Lannister brother's fate, there are many wondering about Tyrion's future. This is a man who still loves his family; well, one particular member.

Jaime and Tyrion finally realized that they weren't complete opposites. They wanted something similar and there was a brotherly bond that couldn't be broken. Jaime even risked his life getting Tyrion out of Westeros before his death sentence could be carried out.

Tyrion just watched as Jaime charged towards an injured Drogon, quietly saying to himself "don't be a fool." The trailer certainly makes it look like Tyrion isn't entirely happy with what Daenerys did. She wiped out a major part of the Lannister army, weakening Cersei but risking Jaime's life. Could Tyrion change sides?

Probably not, but he will be distant for a while. In the trailer, he's seen as still acting as Hand to the Queen. If Tyrion was really considering defecting, there would be a lot more bad blood between Dany and Tyrion than there seems to be.

Jon knows about Bran

The trailer for the upcoming "Game of Thrones" episode also shows that Jon knows that Bran is back in Winterfell and is the Three-Eyed Raven. It's unclear just how much he knows in terms of visions, but does know that the Night King is marching onto Eastwatch-by-the-Sea. He trusts his brother's visions, which suggests that he will later believe Bran when he learns the truth about his heritage.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem enough for Daenerys. She will want to continue the momentum of gaining the Iron Throne. That is her one goal and she isn't interested in the enemy from the far north. Jon will continue to attempt to change her mind throughout the episode.

Daenerys isn't in the habit of showing any mercy. The Lannister soldiers will either have to follow her or die and Jon will need to decide what his next plan of attack is to keep the whole of Westeros safe. "Game of Thrones" season 7, episode 5 airs on Sunday, Aug. 13 at 9/8c on HBO. Make sure you tune in to see how the ending to episode 4 turns out.
