Celebrities who get in a relationship and end up having bad breakups are one of the most common headlines in Hollywood. One Direction's Zayn Malik and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards is one of them. They were not simply boyfriend and girlfriend because they were actually engaged for two years. To make things worse, Malik called off their engagement and broke up with Edwards over the phone. To say that their breakup ended on a sour note is an understatement, and apparently, Edwards is still not okay with Malik. Currently, Perrie is single while Zayn is in a relationship with Victoria's Secret model, Gigi Hadid.

This is where things get interesting. According to E! Online, fans claim that Perrie Edwards might have changed the lyrics of one of their hit songs, "Shoutout To My Ex," during one of their concerts. The said concert was held in New Zealand

Bad blood spilling over

Although it has been almost two years since Zayn Malik broke off his engagement with Perrie Edwards, it appears that the Little Mix singer still hasn't gotten over the bad breakup. As expected, her fellow Little Mix members are in the same boat, as a show of their support for Edwards.

In a video uploaded by a fan which has since gone viral, Perrie Edwards can be heard singing the part of "Shoutout To My Ex" lyrics from "I hope she gettin' better sex/Hope she ain't faking it like I did, babe" to "Hope she ain't faking it like Hadid." This has garnered mixed reactions from the fans as some say that she intentionally changed to it throw some shade at Malik while some believe that it was just part of Edwards' slang.

Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid fans react

As expected, fans of Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid called out Perrie Edwards for dragging the latter's name into her fight with her ex-fiance. It is worth noting that reps for Little Mix or Perrie Edwards have yet to comment on the issue.

Although the subtle change in the lyrics might be shrugged off as non-intentional, considering that "I did" and "Hadid" sounds pretty much the same, the fact that Perrie Edwards and fellow Little Mix member, Jade Thirlwall laughed together after that part was supposedly the tell-tale sign that there was really some shade thrown.

Fans of Perrie Edwards came to her defense by saying that she and Jade only laughed because the former's voice cracked while singing that part, making it sound like "Hadid" instead of "I did." Reps for Zayn and Gigi have yet to comment on the issue.
