"Counting On" Reality TV star Derick Dillard has come under fire following a series of tweets he posted starting on August 2. The 28-year-old accountant, who is married to Jill Duggar from TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" and "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," tweeted on August 2 that "transgender is a myth." Dillard shared a promotional image for TLC's "I Am Jazz," a reality TV show following the life of 16-year-old Jazz, who is transgender. The tweet received over 1,000 likes and had caused mass controversy. Many Twitter users commented under the tweet, expressing their disgust over Dillard's bullying and calling on TLC to do something about it.

In his tweet, Dillard also claimed that gender isn't fluid and suggested God fixes it. He replied to comments on the tweet, clarifying that he doesn't have a problem with "him" (Jazz Jennings) but with the definitions and words being used. A Twitter user quickly pointed out that Dillard had used to incorrect pronoun to describe Jennings. The star then tweeted again yesterday, saying that people are not his enemy and he fights against evil cosmic powers causing "present darkness."

Jill Duggar under fire by Jax Taylor over husband's tweet

Dillard's tweets have not been deleted, and according to US Weekly, TLC released a statement saying that Dillard's views do not align with their own.

"Vanderpump Rules" star Jax Taylor took to Twitter on August 3, slamming Jill Duggard over her husband's tweet. The actor said, referring to Jill, that he wouldn't boast about the "speck of dust" on her finger, calling Dillard "delusional" and suggesting he is probably a closeted homosexual.

Taylor included a link to a tweet on Jill Duggar's account, celebrating her engagement to Dillard in 2014.

Twitter users were quick to comment on Taylor's post, saying that his tweet showed further hate and arguments ensued between commenters about Christianity and bullying.
