Ben Affleck just turned a year older on Tuesday and he celebrated his 45th Birthday with his children in Los Angeles. The 45-year old actor was spotted sporting his blue jeans, light gray shirt while pairing it with his blazer. He was also seen arriving solo in Barton G, a restaurant in Westwood, California. Meanwhile, his three children, Violet, Samuel, and Seraphina have arrived later as they brought birthday gifts for their dad.

Great family week

A report from People has confirmed that Ben Affleck's children definitely had a great day on his birthday.

Apparently, Affleck and Garner's children were very thrilled as they got the chance to spend time with their dad on his special day. The three of them were seen carrying several gifts for Affleck as they arrived at the birthday venue. On the other hand, Affleck was also reported very excited to have taken his kids out in Los Angeles last Tuesday.

However, amid the celebration, his followers couldn't help but noticed the absence of Lindsay Shookus, Affleck's new found romance, on the celebration. To recall, the rumored couple was spotted a lot of times in Los Angeles while grabbing some drinks in the high street. Meanwhile, Affleck and Shookus were also spotted on Tuesday as they had their lunch at Osteria Mozza before they headed to a comedy bar.

Perhaps, it seemed that Shookus was on her tight schedule which made her fail to attend Affleck's birthday celebration.

Putting the children first

Amid the rough situation that Garner and Affleck have faced recently due to their divorce, it has been learned that the couple has both agreed to place their children's first on top of everything.

After almost two years of separation, the former couple has tried their best in co-parenting their three kids. As much as possible, they wanted to take things smoothly to their children despite their ill-fated relationship.

An insider has told People that Affleck was also trying to live a normal life away from his family. Despite the situation, the actor has made it sure that he can still spend time with his brood.

Further, it was also revealed by a source close to Garner that the former couple has always worked hard in order to give the best to their children. Hence, it is no stranger if they can still be seen spending time together with their kids.

To recall, the entire family of Affleck was seen celebrating the annual celebration back in July. They looked as if nothing happened between the former couple. Both of them have spent time with their children while taking them all in the park during the Fourth of July parade.
