Ashley Darby surprised everyone during the "Real Housewives Of Potomac" reunion special earlier this year, as she shared that she and her husband Michael had separated. It's no secret that the couple struggled during the season of the show, as they fought about everything from money to the restaurant.
Ashley was convinced that the two of them have started the restaurant together, but Michael felt that she was more of an employee and that he could tell her exactly what she needed to do for him. As she pointed out several times, Ashley felt more like an employee rather than a partner in the business.
Baby plans are no more
In addition, the couple had put baby plants on hold until the restaurant was profitable, which didn't happen during filming. During the reunion, Michael stated that things were going better with the restaurant but they were indeed struggling in the romantic department. During the reunion special, Ashley revealed that she had indeed moved out of their home and they were trying things out while living apart. It sounds like she needed some time to figure out what she really wanted with her relationship and her marriage to Michael.
During the first season of "The Real Housewives of Potomac," Ashley really wanted children. It is sad to see that this may not happen, simply because they couldn't work together in fixing the restaurant's troubles.
Sadly, she may not have a child with her husband if they don't agree on things.
Optimism may save them
Ashley Darby seemed very positive in regards to her relationship with her husband. During the reunion special for "The Real Housewives of Potomac," Darby hinted that she thought they might get back together. They did seem a bit estranged during the reunion special, so fans didn’t really think that this would be possible.
Did she really think that they would work things out? But it sounds like she is working on her marriage, as Ashley showed a picture of her and Michael together at a concert just a few days ago. In the caption for the photo, Ashley Darby writes that it is Michael's birthday and they're having fun celebrating. Even though they might not be living together, they're still a married couple and they're still hoping to have children one day.
It sounds like this might just be a temporary hurdle for them to get over.
