The entertainment industry was once again surprised when the news emerged that Angelina Jolie called off her divorce from Brad Pitt. As a lot of fans got brokenhearted when the high-profile couple decided to part their ways, they now saw a glimmer of hope for reconciliation.
However, as some assume that the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” stars are going to make things between them work again, it looks like it is not the case. Followers of the A-listers might be once again broken-hearted as a source told Entertainment Tonight that nothing in their current relationship would change.
Pitt, Jolie won’t be reunited
"There’s a pause in the [divorce] process because they both made children the priority,” a source told ET.
The insider added that there is no hint of hatred between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt right now as they are both displaying “great civility” for their kids. The two have six children – Maddox Chivan (16), Pax Thien (13), Zahara Marley (12), Shiloh Nouvel (11), and the 9-year-old twin Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
Unfortunately, fans high hopes will be put down as the source confirmed that there is no Reconciliation in the making. The insider explained that divorce is taking too long to be finalized because it naturally takes a lot of time to process this thing.
Also, the former couple’s full attention now centers on their family and their kids.
An indecisive decision
To recall, US Weekly reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are heading for a “full recovery.”
After a year of their separation, a source told the publication that the 42-year-old “Maleficent” star is “second-guessing her decision to get a divorce.” The insider confirmed that the two’s divorce is now called off as they are both not doing anything to push it through for some months now.
“No one thinks they are ever going to,” the source said.
The whole world is once again shocked with the “Salt” actress’ decision, especially after her revelations about her estranged husband. To recall, an insider claimed that they have been fighting for years and she allegedly makes him look like the villain in their relationship.
In fact, there are swirling rumors that someone from her side revealed that the 53-year-old actor has engaged infidelity and physically abusing his ex-wife.
However, the publication went on to say that Jolie has regretted her decision and she is said to be still in love with his partner of 12 years. With that, a lot believe that “they are going to be back,” particularly now that the “Allied” star gives up his drinking habits. “It wouldn’t be surprising if they announced that they’re calling it off and trying to work things out,” the insider said.
