"The Originals" is a spin off series of the hit TV show "The Vampire Diaries." It follows the adventures of character Klaus Mikaelson as he and his family get involved in the supernatural politics in New Orleans. The show was created by Julie Plec who also created "The Vampire Diaries." The first season of the series premiered back in 2013 and immediately gained a cult following. The series has been running since then and has recently confirmed that its next season, season 5, will, in fact, be the final season of the show. The trailer for season 5 of "The Originals" was recently released at the San Diego Comic Convention.
The trailer shows a teenage Hope
The trailer for season 5 of "The Originals" was recently screened at the San Diego Comic Convention. The trailer revealed to fans what they could expect from the fifth and final season of the show. According to Deadline, it also gives a glimpse of the grown up teenage Hope. Her character narrates the trailer and begins to talk about the things people love being corrupted by evil.
The daughter of Klaus then states that she will protect her family legacy even if it kills her. It will certainly be interesting to see the direction the show takes in season 5 of the show. Now that the character of Hope is a teenager it opens up much more room in the plot for the exploration of issues surrounding the use of her abilities.
Candice King to appear in 'The Originals'
Candice King is best known for her role as character Caroline Forbes in the series "The Vampire Diaries." According to Just Jared, the actress has been confirmed for a role in "The Originals." Caroline and Klaus had a toxic relationship during a few season on "The Vampire Diaries," but the end episode of the series Caroline receives a letter from her old flame.
Fans immediately picked up on this and have been hoping that Caroline will appear on "The Originals" for some time now.
As of yet, there has been no comment on how long the character of Caroline Forbes will feature in "The Original." It is possible that she could show up several times during the final season of the show. The cast confirmed that initially she would be just interacting with the character of Josh.
Candice King stated that Caroline and Josh have a great report and their relationship brings something new to the series.
"The Originals" is set to return to the small screen in 2018. Fans will have to wait until the new year before they can see what happens next in the series.
