It looks like there are a lot of possibilities happening in the coming “The Originals” Season 5. Apparently, Nina Dobrev might grace the show as part of the “The Vampire Diaries” and its spin-off crossover.

The Christain Post reported that there will be a time jump happening in the show's fifth season. Hope will be a grown up lady when the show returns. The television series' new executive producer Julie Plec, who replaced Michael Narducci, even teased that the possible reunion of Niklaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline Forbes (Candice King) is happening.

A slipped teaser

In an interview with TVGuide, Julie Plec accidentally revealed that Niklaus Mikaelson and Caroline Forbes might be once again be reunited in “The Originals” Season 5.

As Hope is now a grown-up lady, she will be enrolling at the Salvatore School for the Young and the Gifted. Therefore, she has to be in Mystic Falls. The Boarding House is run by Caroline Forbes along with Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis). Therefore, the moment that Joseph Morgan's character enrolls his daughter, there is a big possibility that the two will meet again.

"Alaric and Caroline are running the Salvatore School … where Hope Mikael – s*** never mind,” Julie Plec said before she cut her statement quickly. She then told the fans to just watch the television series and wait for the coming of the fifth season.

The planned crossovers

Moreover, aside from the teased reunion of Niklaus Mikaelson and Caroline Forbes, Julie Plec also hinted the coming of Nina Dobrev in “The Originals” Season 5.

In an interview with E! News, the 45-year-old television producer teased the guest appearances of “The Vampire Diaries” stars, particularly confirming the coming of Ian Somerhalder’s ex-girlfriend in the fifth episode of the show’s new installment.

"There's [sic] a lot of people that could crossover,” she said. The writer explained that they are now thinking of the most clever way that they can include the mythology of “TVD” in its spinoff’s tradition for the planned crossovers.

Julie Plec recalled that there was a character introduced in the show’s third season that has a connection with Niklaus Mikaelson and Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies).

This character was also the one responsible for the transformation of the siblings to become vampires. This was also the girl that they both loved who happened to be The Original doppelgänger, Tatia (Nina Dobrev).

Nina Dobrev will be gracing “The Originals” Season 5 Episode 5 with a “little nice storyline” on Nov. 3 on The CW.
