The latest details and spoilers for "The Flash" Season 4 will feature Barry Allen getting a new costume and powers during the show.

New suite for the Scarlet Speedster

It seems that Barry Allen will have some changes in "The Flash" Season 4 as the show's main star Grant Gustin posted a photo on his Instagram account showing-off his new Flash boots. Twitter username YVRShoots was able to tweet the full version of Barry's new costume on several behind-the-scenes shots from the show.

As seen on the photos, Barry's new costume is similar to his future counterpart in season 3, sporting a much lighter tone of red and more lightning designs on his boots, belt, and outer lines.

It is unknown yet if Barry will automatically get this suite during his time in the Speed Force or Cisco Ramon made it in during his spare time in S.T.A.R. Labs in case the Scarlet Speedster returns to Central City.

The designs for Barry's new suite will be close to the DC comics as it signifies the character's return and rebirth after his time in the Speed Force for the events of Flashpoint in season 3.

New Speed Force powers teased

Another possible change for Barry in "The Flash" Season 4 will be his new abilities in the show as Gustin told ComicBook during San Diego Comic-Con that his time in the Speed Force will have an effect on his return to Central City.

"We're not necessarily going to see Barry's experience in the Speed Force. We'll see kind of the effects that the Speed Force has had on Barry, and he's been in here for six months real-time," Gustin said.

Gustin also teased that Barry will possess some new knowledge from his time in the Speed Force, but he will not necessarily understand it easily.

It is an interesting to see what kind of knowledge he has and it might have something with the past, present, and future timelines in the course of season 4.

Perhaps this new knowledge could also be new powers that the Flash has yet to be revealed in the show. Barry's return will also affect his relationship with his family and friends, especially on Iris West as she tries to move on with her life without him at the start of the show.

Gustin teased that a possible TV adaptation of the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" and called it the show's main "goal" for future seasons. Barry and Team Flash will face a new foe named Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker played by Neil Sandilands.

"The Flash" Season 4 will premiere on Oct.10 at 8 PM on the CW Network.
