It looks like a lot of things are about to change in the coming The 100Season 5. As the post-apocalyptic drama’s cast and executive producers graced San Diego Comic-Con 2017 panel on Friday, they teased the surprising things that are about to come.

Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin, Dean White, and Jason Rothenberg joined forces to talk about the coming fifth season. The science fiction drama series will be featuring a six-year time jump. Thus there will be changes coming in the world and life of Clarke and everyone around her.

The show’s future

The show’s executive producer Jason Rothenberg talked about one of the intriguing cliffhangers, which is the arrival of an unknown ship that is said to be carrying prisoners, in the previous season.

“The prison ship is from Earth,” he said at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 (via TV Line). These prisoners are from before the first apocalypse happened and they have been in “hypersleep” for about 100 years. These prisoners are returning to this planet, although they already forgot about it.

Eliza Taylor also talked about the coming time jump in “The 100” Season 5. As the show is about to take place six years after the second nuclear apocalypse, fans will see her next as a mother. For her, it will be nice to play a role closer to her age.

The 27-year-old star explained that it would be exciting to see her character back more matured with all that she has been through a lot and portraying a mother role.

Additionally, Marie Avgeropoulos, too, discussed the future of her role as Octavia. Although Octavia has no idea what she is going to do, the Grounder Pounder doesn’t want to bring chaos to the life of the remaining 1,200 people in the bunker.

She will be revealing her plans to keep the peace and order and how she is going to warn others in her way.

The possible character that will die next season

Meanwhile, as The CW series is known for being not afraid to kill off a major character, it looks like another death is coming in “The 100” Season 5.

In an interview with TV Guide, Eliza Taylor, Christopher Larkin, and Lindsey Morgan predict who is going to die next.

Taylor foresees that someone from either the bunker or in space is someone to say goodbye. The 29-year-old actor who plays the role of Monty Green guesses that it might be the right time that John Murphy (Richard Harmon) bid his final goodbye.

Lastly, Morgan believes that this may be her last performance as Raven Reyes. The 27-year-old actress thinks that her disappearance might “stir things up” in the show.
