They chose the Oheka Castle for their big day, and Maksim reportedly had shown this castle to Peta weeks before their wedding ceremony.

On Sunday, July 9, Peta and Maksim said their "I do" in the world’s most beautiful castle. Chmerkovskiy’s brother and “Dancing with the Stars” competitor, Val Chmerkovskiy, was forefront throughout the event. The guests were served with a special dinner, followed by dance performances by former “Dancing with the Stars” winner Nyle DiMarco and actress Candace Bure.

Is Maksim Chmerkovskiy happy with Peta Murgatroyd?

Maksim Chmerkovskiy said in a statement to CNN that he was pleased with Peta Murgatroyd. He always wanted to marry her as early as possible, but the “Dancing with the Stars” pro dancer suggested him to wait for a few months. They announced their engagement on Twitter in December 2015. “I am very pleased to have Peta Murgatroyd in my life. She is the most beautiful and best woman I ever met,” Maksim told the news outlet.

He was in a relationship with fellow “Dancing with the Stars” pro Karina Smirnoff. They announced their engagement in 2009, but Maksim and Karina separated their ways within a few months. In 2012, he was in a serious relationship with Kate Upton.

Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy started dating each other in 2014, and they became engaged in December 2015.

Maksim proposed Peta while onstage for a performance of “Sway: A Dance Trilogy” in Florida. The couple welcomed their first child, Shai Aleksander, earlier this year.

According to People, more than two hundred people attended their wedding ceremony, including Aaron Paul, Nina Dobrev, Mark Ballas and Julianne's brother Derek. The bride wore a beautiful gown by Marchesa, and Brooks Laich chose a Brooks Brothers tuxedo for his big day.
