Warner Bros. released a new trailer for the highly anticipated "Justice League" movie at the San Diego Comic-Con. The four-minute trailer showcases Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as the Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. The trailer also introduces Steppenwolf, the main villain of the movie. Steppenwolf is played by Ciaran Hinds, an Irish actor best known as Mance Rayder on Game of Thrones.

"Justice League" takes place after the death of Superman from "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." In this film, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince join together to recruit a team of metahumans to form the Justice League in order to fight a newly awakened threat.

"Justice League" will hit the theaters on November 10, 2017.

The new trailer

The trailer begins with Wonder Woman fighting off a group of heavily armed criminals. It is then followed by a sequence showcasing the world mourning Superman’s death. And then we are introduced to Steppenwolf.

Aside from the action-packed intro of Wonder Woman, the trailer also showcases several amazing scenes of all the members of the Justice League. Here we see Batman fighting off a Parademon, Aquaman turning one of the baddies into his surfboard as they crash into a building, Cyborg driving (hijacking) the Batmobile, and the Flash moving around at light speed.

As if the mind-blowing sequences weren’t enough, the trailer also drops a few hints regarding the Green Lantern through Steppenwolf’s dialogue and the return of Superman at the end of the trailer through Alfred’s scene.

Joss Whedon took over the movie a few months back after the death of Zack Snyder’s daughter. As many fans have expected, the trailer already shows a shift in visual tone from the previous trailer due to Joss Whedon’s involvement during the post-production. One particular thing to notice in the trailer is its more vibrant color pallet compared to the bleakness of the first trailer and the previous film in the same universe "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" (2016).

The new poster

Aside from the new trailer, Warner Bros also revealed a new poster for the upcoming film. The poster showcases Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman along with a tagline "You Can’t Save the World Alone."

The new poster’s vibrant color pallet and character arrangement appear to homage Alex Ross, a renowned DC comic book writer/artist.

The poster was posted on Twitter by the official "Justice League" movie page after its reveal on San Diego Comic-Con.
