After she earlier revealed her hosting stint at the MTV Video Music Awards, international pop singer Katy Perry is reportedly in consultation with a famous astronaut in preparation for the show.

In a recent report by The Sun, Katy Perry said she is on a group text chat with Buzz Aldrin to gear her up for the upcoming show.

The singer was quoted in the report saying, “I’ve been training with MTV in zero gravity, eating astronaut ice cream, and I’m on a group text with Buzz Aldrin and Neil deGrasse Tyson.”

As to the purpose of doing these, fans and viewers around the world should wait until the show this August.

Katy Perry is 2017 VMA host

Earlier this week, the 32-year-old pop singer announced that she will be hosting the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards plus doing some performances.

“Come August 27th, I’ll be ready to be your Moon Woman! Brace for impact, kids,” the singer added, as reported by E Online and The Hollywood Reporter.
