However, fresh reports and leaks have indicated something else altogether. Experts predict that Microsoft might take the wraps off its Surface Phone sometime later this year.
Endless reports regarding Microsoft Surface Phone device began early last year. Even though the firm never admitted to the existence of the same, the company’s representatives at several occasions dropped sufficient hints that led fans to believe that they are truly working on the smartphone.
These speculations were confirmed when Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella himself attested the same. Late last year in an interview with Australian Financial Review, Satya Nadella was heard as saying that the firm will still continue to grow in the smartphone market. He further went on to add that the firm was currently working on launching the ultimate device ever in the market. He also suggested that the upcoming device will be unlike any other existing in the market. However, it remains undeniable that there are still no official reports regarding the Surface Phone to be precise.
Device might come by the end of the year
However, recently fresher reports regarding the device have been indicating that Microsoft is planning on launching its Surface Phone device later this year.
It seems like Microsoft ended up facing several technical complications because of which, the device’s launch has been postponed to a later date. It is crucial that Microsoft launches its smartphone this year because other tech giants such as Apple and Samsung are also expected to unleash their power-packed flagship smartphones by the end of this year.
