Arya Stark has always been one of the most interesting characters in "Game of Thrones," and of course, that's mostly because "A Song of Ice and Fire" author George R. R. Martin pulled no punches with writing Arya's character development. But surely, almost everyone would agree that Maisie Williams' performance as the character on-screen gave justice to the sneaky, rogue-like archetype that is Ned Stark's second daughter. How has her journey with the show fared so far?

In a recent interview with TIME, Maisie Williams answered some important questions regarding her character and the state of the show in general.

Spoilers are too much to hope for

Perhaps one of the biggest questions to ask Maisie is this: does she have any idea where her character would end up, or how "Game of Thrones" will end at all?

Her answer is a very clear "no." See, the showrunners made the decision to release the script to a select few; actors and actresses like Maisie do not get a copy of the script until about a month before shooting.

This is actually a very smart move because, as Maisie herself said, there are a lot of fans and even "trolls" that would probably do anything to get their eyes on possible spoilers.

Maisie herself thought that withholding the scripts do the actors good. She admitted that if she knew what would happen and how "Game of Thrones" would end, she would have a hard time keeping it to herself!

Reflecting on the final two seasons of 'Game of Thrones'

Williams also shared her thoughts regarding the show's final moments. When asked what the ending of the show meant for her as an actress, she replied that she was actually "excited." Not because she's happy the show is ending; she just thought that after "Thrones," she could work on other projects without being tied to the Arya Stark persona that, to be fair, established her place in show business.

"It's nerve-wracking, and it’s going to be very sad to say goodbye to the show, but I think it’s a time to look quite positively at the future and really try to shape my career without being tied to anything," the actress said.

She also said that working on "Game of Thrones" has been a "most amazing opportunity" that has opened a lot of doors for her.

What would she want for Arya?

When asked what she personally wanted for Arya Stark, her answer was simple. She just wanted Arya to be reunited with her remaining family members again. She admits that she does not know how that would actually go down, but she seems eager with the prospect.

Well, we never know. "Game of Thrones" could have a happy ending, after all. Meanwhile, let's all wait how the upcoming war turns out as the show returns for Season 7 on July 16.
