The late "Three's Company" star John Ritter's daughter Stella is in the process of transitioning from a female to a male. The news of Stella Ritter's transition was revealed by a close friend of the Ritter family according to reports.
Fans still mourn loss of John Ritter
Radar Online reports that a close family friend has revealed that Stella Ritter first officially began living as a male last September just after her 18th birthday and now wants to be known as Noah Ritter. Stella Ritter is the only child of John Ritter and his widow Amy Yasbeck.
Stella reportedly made the decision to become a man when she was still in high school.
14th anniversary of Ritter's death nearing
Now known as Noah, Ritter is living full time as a male and has grown facial hair due to the hormone treatments she has been undergoing. Reports reveal Noah Ritter shared a recent photo of himself wearing a hat and sporting a mustache and chin hair. The photo according to the site was shared on Instagram recently but has now been taken down.
John Ritter died unexpectedly in September 2003 after suffering an aortic dissection. Sadly, John's death took place on what was also his daughter's fifth birthday. John collapsed on the set while filming "8 Simple Rules." John began feeling very ill on the set and began sweating, vomiting, and complaining of chest pains.
He was rushed across the street to the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center where he was sadly misdiagnosed and treated him for a heart attack. By the time doctors finally figured out Ritter's real medical emergency, it was too late. The actor died on the operating table just days before his 54th birthday, coincidentally in the same hospital where he was born.
Over the past several years, John's daughter has managed to keep a low profile away from the public eye. Stella, now Noah Ritter's family members including mother Amy and half-brother Jason Ritter are 100 percent in support of Stella's decision to transition.
The family source reveals John Ritter would have been very accepting as his only wishes for his daughter was her lifelong happiness.
Stella/Noah Ritter is not the only celebrity child to decide to transition. Stars with transgender children include Cher's daughter Chasity Bono turned son Chaz and Annette Benning and Warren Beaty's son/now daughter.
It is now being reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have recognized that their daughter Shiloh wants to be a boy. Shiloh has been dressing as a male now for the past few years, keeps her hair cut short, and believes she is the same as her brothers. It has been alleged that Shiloh has expressed to her parents that she prefers being called John as to Shiloh.
It has also been allegedly reported that Angelina and Brad are in full support of Shiloh/John's wishes and only wants their children to grow up in a loving home.
