Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar posted a picture of Jana Duggar making pizza with her siblings on their Facebook page and heads exploded. How could an innocent family picture anger people? The eldest and unmarried Duggar daughter was always shown caring for younger siblings on "19 Kids and Counting." Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar seem to use Jana as a surrogate mother. Fans worry that Josh Duggar, Jill Dillard, Jessa Seewald and other siblings are "counting on" their sister too much.

Everyone 'counting on' Jana

The Facebook post showed Jana Duggar leading seven little Duggar kids in a cooking lesson.

Everyone seemed to be having fun, including the instructor. As a homeschooling family, the celebrities of "19 Kids and Counting" educate their kids to teach each other. But reality television fans saw more than just a Home Ec lesson. Jana graduated from homeschool 10 years ago. Folks are concerned that Michelle is "counting on" her daughter to be a mother as well as a teacher.

Jana Duggar: Mother of Perpetual Help

It's not just pizza dough that's rising with "Counting On" followers. Tempers flared seeing the eldest Duggar girl covered in kids that aren't hers. First it was her "19 Kids and Counting" siblings. But now as brothers and sisters get married she cares for their kids too. Some flat-out accused Jessa Seewald, Jill Dillard, and their husbands (Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald) of exploiting Jana.

Anna Duggar admitted to selfishly leaning on Jana through Josh's incest and pedophilia scandal.

Jana Duggar 'counting on' life of caregiving

The single "19 Kids and Counting" stars are dropping like flies. Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell are courting, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth just tied the knot and want a big family, and Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are talking babies.

More grandkids mean more work for Jana. Siblings have learned that "counting on" the single, childless, eldest sister to help with their families is the norm.

Jana Duggar has choices?

"19 Kids and Counting" fans were upset over Jana but others said it was her choice. In a typical family, yes, Jana Duggar wouldn't need to martyr herself on the family altar.

The Reality TV star could go to college, move out, and get a life of her own. But the only choice these girls have is to get married or stay home. Their father even picks the husband. It's the opposite of "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom." Jana's 27, unmarried, has never been pregnant, and yet, is a parent until she finds a man. Jana says she's not "counting on" courtship any time soon.
