Ben Affleck is once again caught up in dating rumors after he and Jennifer Garner filed their petitions to divorce in April. In fact, their relationship has been on the rocks for a couple of years before they have decided to formally end their decade-long marriage.

In their divorce petitions, both parties cited "irreconcilable differences" as the ground for the separation. Affleck and Garner are also seeking for joint custody of their kids Violet (11), Seraphina (8), and Samuel (5), and have decided to present themselves for the divorce procedure.

But despite the unfortunate turnabout in their marriage, the "Daredevil" actors promised to maintain an amicable relationship in order to co-parent their children. Hence, the former couple regularly goes on family trips and attend Sunday services with the kids even after the divorce filings.

Affleck and Garner also refused to provide the reasons for the divorce. The "Alias" alum even clarified that they were already separated before her estranged husband's alleged affair with their nanny came to light. The "Argo" actor, on the other hand, has nothing but kind words about his ex-wife whom he commended for doing a great job in looking after their kids.

Two years after separation

Garner was recently seen with her girlfriends in Malibu in the second year of her split with her estranged husband.

The former couple announced that they were going separate ways on June 30, 2015, a day after they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Meanwhile, Affleck had been caught on several dating rumors after his split with the actress.

Earlier this year, the 44-year-old actor was linked to his "Live By Night" co-star Sienna Miller after sharing some steamy scenes for the movie.

But this time, Affleck is being paired with Lindsay Shookus, a "Saturday Night Live" producer.

Ben and his rumored girlfriend

A source confirmed to E! News that the two are still in the beginning stages of their relationship. It further said that the couple is trying to keep their romance out of the spotlight. Reports claim the "SNL" producer was with Affleck in London where he filmed the remaining scenes of his upcoming movie.

"It's more than a summer fling. They are having fun and care for each other. It's early and they are taking it slow," the source told the publication.

Despite keeping their relationship low-key and private, the rumored couple was reportedly spotted watching "Ferryman" during their overseas trip. Aside from that, Affleck and Shookus reportedly went for a dinner date in Los Angeles last Thursday.
