The series trailer of 'Game of Thrones'

The officially released series trailer of the TV show is also a recap of sorts of the past six seasons. However, it is formatted in a way that people will see it as a resemble of a blockbuster movie trailer than a usual trailer of a regular TV show.

Based on the reviews, the new trailer of the "Game of Thrones" is incredibly skilled at avoiding spoilers, as there isn’t even a single character death from the show revealed. Rather, its focus is on the main actors and roles of the show, as well as the backstory of each and every remaining character.

These people include the Starks, the Lannisters, the White Walker and Daenerys’ claim to the throne. The characters Jon, Cersei, Arya, Tyrion, and Dany get the greatest screen time while Sansa and Jaime are shown just for a glimpsed. And since it's just a five-minute video, many characters are barely shown.
