What happens in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 14 Episode 1

There is not much to tell based off on the premiere title.

Perhaps the new season picks up where the Season 13 Finale left off, with Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) and Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) learning that Megan is alive after ten years of being presumed dead. “Break down the House” could refer to her return in their lives--as Nathan’s former love and Owen’s sister. Megan’s return warrants a clap since it is undeniable that a lot can happen with her back.

Possible scenarios with Megan’s return

Megan’s return can certainly “Break down the House” when it comes to Nathan’s relationship. Just when he and Meredith were off to a good start, Megan's return can put a stop to whatever feelings the pair has developed for each other. It is understandable if Nathan chooses to be with her this time.

After all, she came to his life first before Meredith.

That scene in the Season 13 Finale, when Nathan learned from Meredith that Megan is alive and he rushed to be by her side, could be a foretelling of his reconciliation with Megan. Meredith would have to step back and give the former lovers a chance to fix whatever was broken between them before Megan disappeared. LIkewise, Megan's return could also bring peace of mind to Owen.
