Although the White Walkers were in London, it was the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 premiere in Los Angeles. The cast and crew of "Game of Thrones" came out in style to watch the first episode of Season 7 “Dragonstone”. Held at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, Ramin Djawadi conducted a live performance of the opening theme of the show.

Some of the cast present at the premiere were Kit Harrington (King in the North, Jon Snow) who brought his girlfriend Rose Leslie (who played the now-deceased wildling Ygritte). Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Iain Glenn (Jorah Mormont), Gwendolyn Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Three-Eyed Raven, Bran Stark).

Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) was also in attendance, trying on the White Walker Filter on Snapchat.

Among the other stars walking on the red carpet was Joe Dempsie.

The second favorite bastard

Actor Joe Dempsie was present at the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 premiere. Dempsie plays Gendry, one of the bastard sons of the late King Robert Baratheon. Gendry was last seen in the finale of Season 3 ‘Mhysa’.

A refresher on Gendry: Ned Stark found out that he is one of Robert’s illegitimate children.

After Robert and Ned’s death, he was to be sent to the Wall to join the Night’s Watch and to escape the clutches of Cersei. On their way to Castle Black, they are captured by Lannister army and taken to Harrenhal where he worked at the forge.

He eventually escapes Harrenhal but was captured by the Brotherhood without Banners.

The Brotherhood sell Gendry to Melissandre who tells him the identity of his father. When they reach Dragonstone, Melissandre uses Gendry’s blood to make sacrifices to the Lord of Light. Davos then helps Gendry escape back to King’s Landing in a rowboat.

Seen on set

There have been reports of sightings of Dempsie on the set of "Game of Thrones" in Spain.

Photos show Peter Drinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Liam Cunningham on set joined by Dempsie. It would seem that Tyrion and Davos were tied up, only to be saved by a man, who resembles Gendry, swinging a war hammer. Noted that Robert Baratheon also wielded the same weapon of choice in his battle against Rhaegar Targaryen and that Gendry grew up as a skilled blacksmith.

Other photos show Dempsie at the airport heading to Belfast. Last time a cast member was seen heading to Belfast was Kit Harrington, who was previously believed to have died in the Season 6 finale. Could Gendry be finally off his little boat? What has he been doing for the past 4 seasons? Fans of the show have been guessing and dying to know.
