During the recently concluded D23 Expo, Disney took center stage and discussed upcoming films fans should look forward to. However, "Frozen 2," still lacks an official update. Although Disney gave the event attendees a glimpse of how the production of "Frozen 2" is going, very little is known about the highly anticipated movie.

The sequel to the 2013 animated film is scheduled to hit the big screens by November 2019, but there are already a lot of rumors -- proving that people are eager for its arrival.

No official plot summary so far

A lot of event attendees hoped to hear updates about "Frozen 2" during the recent D23 Expo, but nothing much was revealed about the sequel.

Rather, Walt Disney Animation Studios' Chief Creative Officer, John Lasseter, teased fans with the other upcoming sequels such as "Wreck-It Ralph 2," and "The Incredibles 2" which are both set to release in the coming years.

During the event, Lasseter mentioned that he is excited about "Frozen 2." He said that the movie will be hilarious, beautiful, and emotional. He also revealed that the movie will be incredibly creative. Since the filmmakers are putting a lot of love and effort into this movie, Disney and Pixar will surprise everyone with the new characters and stories that will come with it.

Possible title change

The sequel to one of the highest-grossing films was tagged as "Frozen 2." However, there are some speculations that there will be a title change.

After raising a lot of questions about the official title, Lasseter also mentioned that the new title will be sensible. According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Peter Del Vecho mentioned that "Frozen 2" will uncover some mysteries. The truth behind Queen Elsa's powers might be revealed in the sequel as well.

Fight between the sisters

A lot of fan theories are pointing out that there will be a rif between the two sisters. After discovering her own powers, Princess Anna will try and overthrow Elsa and take her crown. Due to her strong love for her sister, Queen Elsa will not fight and will possibly die in the second film.

There are also speculations that Tarzan, the King of the Jungle, is the brother of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna.

According to rumors, he was born in the jungle when the King and Queen of Arendelle washed up on the shores of the island.

The mysteries surrounding "Frozen 2" will remain unanswered until it hits the big screen in 2019.
