"Days Of Our Lives" spoilers for the current week reveal that although JJ was previously charged with the murder of Deimos Kiriakis, and Sonny recently confessed to killing his uncle, a brand new suspect could emerge and get both JJ and Sonny off the hook for the crime.
So many suspects
As many "Days of our Lives" fans know, Deimos Kiriakis is dead and the mystery surrounding his murder is all anyone is talking about in Salem. Of course, nobody particularly misses Deimos due to the fact that he was always scheming to make someone's life worse, but the police are being forced to investigate the murder and there are many suspects.
Nearly everyone who was at the Martin House party could be involved but, because Deimos had drugged them all, no one seems to fully remember anything from that night.
JJ Deveraux was the first suspect to be arrested after Deimos DNA was found on him and Lani revealed that she remembered JJ and Deimos struggling. However, as the days went by, Sonny Kiriakis began to have some vivid memories of his own. Sonny recalled fighting with Deimos as well and later standing over his dead body looking at a knife sticking out of his chest. While Sonny doesn't remember actually killing his uncle, he's convinced that he is the murderer and went to the Salem Police Department to confess his alleged crime. While many "Days of our Lives" fans don't believe that Sonny is the real murderer, another suspect could emerge this week to take the heat off of Justin and Adrienne's son.
Is Xander the real killer?
According to the latest "Days of our Lives" spoilers, Xander Cook will be named as a possible suspect this week, and his involvement in Deimos' murder would make perfect sense. Xander and Deimos have some bad blood between them. The two family members worked together to kidnap Nicole Walker and her daughter Holly after Nicole fled the country with the little girl.
However, Deimos threw Xander under the bus and didn't deliver on his promises to him, which could mean that Xander returned to Salem to get revenge on Deimos, and found a perfect opportunity at the Martin House.
"DOOL" fans know that the murder mystery is just beginning and that in the coming episodes the NBC soap will likely throw a lot of curveballs at viewers as they uncover who the real killer is. Some "Days of our Lives" viewers believe that the murderer will be revealed to be a woman such as Gabi or Abigail, but only time will tell who the real killer is.
