Veteran dancers of the hit dance competition reality television series, "Dancing With The Stars," and one of the show's judges just danced their way down the aisle today in two separate wedding ceremonies. One of the show's judges, Julianne Hough tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Canadian NHL ice hockey player Brooks Laich, in an outdoor ceremony near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Meanwhile, two of the show's veteran dancers, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, also said their vows at a ceremony in Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York.

A star-studded affair

Hough and Laich's wedding, held on Saturday afternoon, had a total of around 200 guests. The entire event was planned by Troy Williams of Simply Troy Lifestyle + Events, with all of the decor and scenery creating a romantic but intimate scene. Present at the event was Juliann's BFF, actress Nina Dobrev, who was there as one of her bridesmaids. Also present at the event was Hough's brother Derek along with Aaron Paul and Mark Ballas, who all witnessed the couple's first kiss as husband and wife.

The 29-year old dancer wore an elegant floor-length gown that was custom made by Marchesa, which was complete with a veil that attached to her hair bun. She also wore a set of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Laich on the other hand suited up with a Brooks Brothers tuxedo.

A long time coming

The long-awaited wedding came after almost two years of being engaged. The announcement was made public through the couple's social media accounts. Laich proposed to Hough in Coeur d'Alene, where Hough's grandparents live. Hough has been very vocal about her feelings towards her fiancé and expressed on numerous occasions how lucky she was to have him.

While Laich may have been less revealing to the public, he has been recorded fawning over his lady love at more than one occasion. The 34-year old hockey star even gushed over her during a radio interview with 106.7 The Fan and mentioned that he was a very lucky guy to have her in his life.

Double wedding

In a separate ceremony in New York, 37-year old Chmerkovskiy and 30-year old Murgatroyd exchanged their vows on the same day.

The event itself was attended by a number of "Dancing with the Stars" alumni as well as the couple's closest friends and family. Murgatroyd was dressed in a Karen Sabag Couture ball gown. The wedding also featured a rainbow in the background, which fans claimed was somewhat a fitting addition to the fairytale-like event.
