There are many rumors and theories about "American Horror Story" Season 7. It's still unclear whether the season really is going to be about the U.S. elections that took place in November 2016. One thing is for certain, though. Fans will find out the title of the seventh season before the show begins. The producers are not keeping everything secret in the way that they did for season 6.
When will you find out the 'AHS' S7 title?
Ryan Murphy tweeted that the seventh season title will be shared on July 20. This seems like a coincidence since this is the date that San Diego Comic Con 2017 will start.
Could it be possible that the "American Horror Story" cast is going to be at SDCC 2017 to share the title? Will there be other clues shared to give us more of an idea of what to expect this season?
The biggest reveal so far has been the political theme. Despite sharing that it would be based on the elections, Murphy also confirmed that Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump won't be portrayed in the show, despite initial theories they would. Many fans have a theory that the storyline will be about the backstage antics and there may even be a possessed politician. After all, there is nothing scary about the U.S. elections, right?
No hiding the concept this year?
Fans will be happy to hear that "American Horror Story" isn't going to see a repeat of the antics of season 6.
Last year, fans had no idea what to expect from the show. While there were many theories and rumors, the producers decided to not even share the title of the season. For months, fans were left with a few teaser trailers that were apparently mostly fake.
The idea was to spur on some excitement for the season. Unfortunately, it backfired.
The concept with the reality TV style shooting left many fans disappointed and underwhelmed after all the hype. While many fans guessed that it would link to the Lost Colony of Roanoke, the season wasn't quite the horror-fest that fans have grown to know and love throughout the last six years.
There is hope that season 7 will bring back the horror.
One character set to return is supposedly Twisty the Clown, who was last seen in season 4. However, it's unclear just how he could come back, especially since season 7 is supposed to be set in the present day.
We will all have to wait a little while longer. "AHS" season 7 is set to reveal the title on July 20. Look out for some surprises at SDCC 2017, as the dates are just way too coincidental for there not to be something there.
