Summer will be heating up even more next week when the latest season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" (rhoc) begins airing. Season 12 of the popular reality show is set to begin on Monday, July 10 on the Bravo network. The latest season will have many familiar faces and one new housewife.

Meet the newest Real Housewife

Fans of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" will be familiar with all but one of the housewives. The new addition to season 12 is a woman named Peggy Sulahian. According to Bravo, Sulahian was born in Kuwait to Armenian parents but has been living in the United States since she was just 1-year-old.

The newest housewife, who is the 100th Real Housewife cast by Bravo, is a mother to three children. Sulahian has a 9-year-old son named Koko, and two daughters, Giovanna at age 19 and Gianelle, who is 17-years-old. Sulahian lost her mother at a young age to breast cancer and recently underwent a double mastectomy after finding a lump in her breast.

The six returning housewives

Back this season are Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, Kelly Dodd, Lydia McLaughlin, and Meghan King Edmonds. Missing from the housewives crew for season 12 is Heather Dubrow, who was on the show for five seasons. Dubrow announced back in January that she was quitting "Real Housewives of Orange County." The reason for her departure form the show is so that she has more time to focus on her marriage and children.

Speaking of children, this season will show how Meghan King Edmonds and her husband Jimmy are adjusting to life as parents. The couple had a baby girl, who they named Aspen, born in November. From all the photos that Meghan posts on her social media sites, it seems like she is enjoying life not just as a housewife but also as a mom.

This season marks Shannon Beador's fourth on RHOC. Beador has three teenage daughters and a new addition to the family, a golden retriever named Archie. In season 12, Beador is said to be working on things with her marriage to husband David and pursing her dream of opening up an organic restaurant.

Tamra Judge is back for her ninth season on the show.

It seems like Judge will be dealing with quite a bit this season as far as her relationships go with long-time friends Vicki and Kelly. She will also be helping her 31-year-old son Ryan Vieth as he undergoes some hardships in his marriage.

Also back this season is Kelly Dodd, who just joined the cast last year during season 11 and Lydia McLaughlin, who appeared in season 8. Don't miss the season premiere of season 12 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" on Monday, July 10 at 9/8c on Bravo.
