Fans of James Bond always wait eagerly to see him back in action, and with 24 movies behind him, the super spy is set to reappear for the 25th film. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer has announced this. The name of the movie is not disclosed but it is expected to be in the cinemas in 2019, and while the script would be once again by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, there is suspense over whether Daniel Craig would portray the role of 007.

Mystery over whether Daniel Craig will return

Sky News reports that producers of the next James Bond movie have said that the cast and director are yet to be confirmed, but there are rumors that it is possible for Daniel Craig to transform into 007 for the fifth time.

The team of Purvis and Wade has been associated with writing the script of these movies in 1999 and have, till now, penned the script for the last six Bond films.

It may be recalled that Craig had indicated to a section of the media that he would not play the role of Bond again. However, later he modified the statement and dropped hints that he could return. As per indications, the movie will hit the US cinemas on November 8, 2019, but will be released before that in the UK and the rest of the world. Craig’s last Bond films “Spectre” and “Skyfall” had been successful at the box office.

Till now, seven actors have been seen in the role of master spy James Bond.

His journey began in 1962 with “Dr. No, love, ” and it set a new trend in movie making and captivated the audience with its storyline as well as the special gadgets of 007 and the locations. The first actor to portray 007 was Sean Connery who was involved in seven movies. Roger Moore was another actor who also was seen as James Bond in an equal number of films while Daniel Craig has done it four times.
