As if being one of today's hottest celebrity couples was not enough, Selena Gomez and boyfriend The Weeknd are said to be collaborating on new music together. In late May 2017, rumor hit the internet that the star-powered couple is teaming up to work on brand new music together after songwriter and producer Max Martin's Wikipedia page listed The Weeknd under Gomez’s upcoming single titled “In Her Element.”

Not long after it garnered online buzz, the 24-year-old singer and actress debunked those rumors that she is working with the “Can't Feel My Face” hitmaker on a new track, during a phone interview with Miami's Power 96.5 FM on May 25, Thursday.

"No, no we're not," Gomez said when asked about it. "It's not true! I can't give those people what they want, I'm sorry. It's not true.”

In the same interview, “The Heart Wants What It Wants” hit-maker admitted that she is taken already without mentioning her boyfriend by name. She has also given fans a rare look at what she is like as a girlfriend.

“I’m the kind of girl that loves tremendously big,” Gomez said. “I just have always been that girl. I will give my heart and my soul to the person that I love. It’s just how I operate. With that comes a lot, you know?”

Is the kissing couple getting serious?

Gomez and The Weeknd first made headlines in January when they were spotted kissing outside Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.

After months of fan speculation, the pair made their official red carpet debut at the 2017 Met Gala on May 01.

Since then, rumor has begun swirling that Gomez and The Weeknd’s marriage is imminent. Even though they only started going out as a couple recently, the star-powered couple was said to be talking about settling down already.

If the rumors are to be believed, The "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress’ wedding dress is said to be simple and elegant – a white, long and fitted one. Even though she is yet to choose a stylist, Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani has emerged as the front-runner to take up the role.

Since it will be an intimate ceremony, Gomez and The Weeknd are apparently inviting only those who are close to them.

The singer-actress' cousin, Priscilla DeLeon, will serve as a maid of honor, while her little sister, Gracie Elliott Teefey, will be one of the flower girls.

However, neither Gomez nor The Weeknd have commented on the wedding rumors, so until they do, this remains nothing more than rumor and speculation.
