"Teen Mom OG" cast member Ryan Edwards is out of rehab. Edwards, who is Maci Bookout's ex and father of Bentley has caused quite a stir in the past month concerning his alleged drug abuse issues and recent quickie marriage.
Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie spotted boating over the weekend
For quite some time now "Teen Mom" fans have speculated that Ryan Edwards was using some form of drugs. His behavior on the popular MTV reality series has been a bit bizarre and questionable. As previously reported, Maci Bookout opened up on the reality series revealing that she had gotten some disturbing news about Ryan and that she was frightened for his life.
Is it too soon for Maci to feel comfortable with Ryan taking Bentley?
Following Maci Bookout's admittance that Ryan had a problem things in Ryan's life began moving along rather quickly. By mid-May, it was revealed that Edwards had married his then fiance Mackenzie and had checked into a rehab facility. It is not known for sure just how long Edwards was in rehab, but it couldn't have been more than 30 days maximum according to the time frame of the reports.
Today new reports from Starcasm have revealed that Edwards is out of rehab and has been throwing some major shade via Instagram at his ex- Maci Bookout. Edwards posted a photo of himself and new bride Mackenzie Standifer on a boat enjoying the beautiful sunny weather over the weekend.
Now "Teen Mom" fans are concerned about Ryan with some believing that his rehab stint was too brief to have taken care of his alleged issues.This last rehab visit was not Edwards' first, in 2012 he spent a few days in a program before checking himself out stating that he did not need the program.
Maci has reportedly claimed that she hopes Ryan is taking rehab seriously, but as a precaution, she has made some calls to get information and documents in order to move to gain full custody of their eight-year-old son Bentley just in case.
At this time Ryan and Mackenzie have chosen to stay silent on the details of the past month, most likely because it would spoil any upcoming plot lines for the "Teen Mom OG" series. As "Teen Mom" fans well know this subject is far from being closed and that the drama between Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards will likely be carrying on for quite some time on the reality series.
