Aside from “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” fans of the “Star Wars” universe are also waiting for the return of Star Wars RebelsSeason 4. Now that the animated series is coming to an end, viewers are now questioning the whereabouts of Ahsoka Tano.

At the recent panel at the movie franchise’s Celebration back in April, its executive producer Dave Filoni confirmed the end of the animated series. Not only that, he also teased the fate of the Padawan learner, knowing that it is not yet revealed if she is still alive or already dead.

A hint on Ahsoka’s new form

Fans have been going crazy if the huge wolf seen in the new trailer of “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 is the new image of Ahsoka Tano.

It has been said that she might take this form when she stays in the Sith temple on Malachor after the series’ second season. In an analyzation made by Slash Film, the theory has been proven by Dave Filoni's series of sketches for the “Star Wars” digital trading card app.

This card is said to depict what really happened to the Togruta female after the end of its second season’s final episode titled “Twilight of the Apprentice.” In the cards, she can be seen circled by a pack of white wolves. However, there is also another wolf that Ezra and Sabine are riding on that is even featured in the trailer of “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4.

And this even made the assumption stronger.

It even hinted a connection of her role to the story in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” involving the planet Mortis, the known home of the “physical embodiments of the light and dark sides of the Force.”

A confirmation of the theory

Allegedly, after Ahsoka Tano’s face-to-face with her former master, she had managed to outstrip her physical body.

Hence, she is expected to return in “Star Wars Rebels” Season 4 as a giant wolf so she could help Kanan and Ezra in their mission to free Lothal.

In another examination made by io9, she might have gained the power to transform into a wolf. In an interview with Dave Filoni by the publication, he was asked at the Celebration if the transformation was true.

However, he didn’t exactly give an answer about it.

“I won’t say what they are about,” he said. But, he is happy knowing that people are interested in the character’s fate. “We’ll have to see where it goes,” he teased.

On the contrary, in the celebration of his birthday, he shared another artwork on his Twitter page and captioned it with “a gift, and perhaps a clarification.” The post just proved that Ahsoka Tano is not and will not be seen as a wolf.
