Speaking to Goldderby, Caitriona Balfe has shared what fans can expect from her and Sam Heughan’s characters in “Outlander” Season 3. According to the STARZ actress, she thinks that fans will be pleased about the upcoming season.
Balfe revealed that a lot of exciting things are going to happen in the show’s third installment as they have kept things fresh to keep fans from watching them. The leading lady of Heughan in the popular series added that the first few episodes would break the hearts of many as Jamie and Claire Fraser would be separated from each other.
“With Claire you’ll see her in Boston, some of it with Frank, some with Brianna (Sophie Skelton); I think it’s really nice you’ll get to see more of that relationship,” Caitriona Balfe said. The “Outlander” Season 3 star added that a reunion with the character of Sam Heughan is totally happening.
While all the cast and crew have already finished filming “Outlander” Season 3, Balfe divulged that doing the third installment has been very challenging for her.
The 37-year-old Irish actress added that the relationship of Claire Fraser and Frank would be the focus of the premiere episodes.
The leading lady of Sam Heughan even shared Claire and Jamie Fraser would be having more steamy bed scenes in the upcoming third installment. The 37-year-old Scottish actor, on the other hand, had revealed that filming the love scenes are technically difficult but he confessed that they enjoy all the intimate scenes.
STARZ artists sparked dating rumors after being spotted together in South Africa
Meanwhile, Us Weekly had previously reported that Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe were reported to be dating after they were spotted getting cozy together. According to the publication, the “Outlander” Season 3 stars were seen enjoying a rugby game.
As a matter of fact, Heughan had shared a photo of him and Balfe on Twitter. In the snap, the two stars were all smiles while being surrounded by The Stormer’s fans. Aside from that, the STARZ artists were even sighted shopping in a Cape Town mall, wherein some fans had a chance to take a photo with the both of them.
Both Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have yet to comment on these dating rumors. However, the “Outlander” Season 3 actor had officially confirmed during his 37th birthday party that he is dating actress Mauzy MacKenzie. Stay tuned for more updates!
