The filming for “Outlander” Season 3 has finally wrapped up. With this, fans are already excited and want to know what will happen. Apparently, actor Sam Heughan revealed what the season 3 ending would look like.

Just recently, both Sam Heughan and co-star Caitriona Balfe shared a photo of themselves enjoying beers in a pool for the wrap party. Fans reportedly speculated that the story for season 3 would somehow end like the heart-breaking scenes in “Titanic.” But, Heughan teased that it was more like synchronized swimming in the Olympics.

The speculation started after a news respondent from E!

News asked directly of Heughan if the season 3 ending is going to be like the “Titanic.” Balfe replied to the question and said: “Sam and I have both have matching frilly hats." While this could be a reference to the Edwardian-style hat worn by Rose DeWitt Bukater in “Titanic,” he was not giving away any more secrets.

The wrap party for the “Outlander” cast and crew included a Jacuzzi and beer. Graham McTavish, who portrayed the role of The Cowboy, reportedly take note of the “paddling pool inside a large tent,” Internation Business Times reported. As Heughan is not allowed to divulge any information about the new season, he invited McTavish to watch the show to find out.

Twists and turns on season 3

Actress Caitriona Balfe revealed that anxious fans and viewers would be “very pleased about the twists and turns” of “Outlander” Season 3. In a report by GoldDerby, Balfe teased fans with some clues about the much-awaited third season.

Balfe said that during the first couple of episodes, her character Claire and Heughan’s Jamie are apart but said that there would be a reunion.

Moreover, she added that fans would get to see the relationship of Claire with Frank (Tobias Menzies) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton).

'Outlander' Season 4 in the works

Shortly after the wrap party in South Africa, International Business Times reported that the writers of the famous Starz historical TV series dived into writing the script of season 4 of the “Outlander.”

The report added that the co-executive producer and writer of the show, Matthew B.

Roberts is now busy going through Diana Gabaldon’s novel titled “Drums of Autumn and heading into the show’s writer’s room to start working on the season 4 script.

Even though season 3 is based on “Voyager,” some scenes from “Drums of Autumn” may have been included.
