Zac Efron may have been in the business for 15 years, but he is mostly known for playing Troy Bolton in the “High School Musical” franchise. The former Disney star quickly became a Hollywood heartthrob, stealing young girls’ hearts including Maddie Ziegler.

“The Book of Henry” actress has been vocal with how much she loves Zac Efron, and she made it even more clear in a recent interview. Maddie Ziegler was a guest star on “The Talk, ” and she did not hold back when asked about her dream co-star.

“This isn’t a secret, but I’m literally obsessed with Zac Efron,” the former “Dance Moms” star said.

Maddie Ziegler then went on to explain that her mom Melissa is obsessed with Zac’s “Baywatch” co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, so she suggested that she and her mom should be in “Baywatch 2.”

Maddie Ziegler is smitten by ‘High School Musical’ star

This is definitely not the first time that Maddie Ziegler shared her admiration for the 29-year-old actor and singer. When the “Ballerina” star played a word association game with her “Book of Henry” co-star Jaeden Lieberher for Raw, the teen associated Zac Efron with the word “Hot.” She then said that “High School Musical” is “the best thing to ever exist.”

It’s pretty clear that Maddie Ziegler is a huge fan of the Disney movie and Vanessa Hudgen’s ex, but the teen did reveal that she is not too pleased with her stint in “Dance Moms.” Although the Lifetime show catapulted the 14-year-old to stardom, she summarized her career on the reality dance television series in two words — “the worst.”

Maddie is more than ready to put ‘Dance Moms’ behind her

After leaving “Dance Moms” in season 6, Maddie Ziegler has expanded her brand from being a plain dancer to actress, model, writer, and businesswoman.

Even though her name will always be linked to the show, the former Abby Lee Dance Company Elite Competition Team member made it clear multiple times that she is moving forward.

Maddie Ziegler was Abby Lee Miller’s star student, and the famously tough teacher had always favored the young star over the other girls. However, the popular teen has previously revealed that it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies being the mentor’s favorite student.

"I was stressed at 11 years old, which shouldn't happen,” Maddie shared to People. The dancer was dealing with a lot of pressure at a very young age and she just realized it after leaving the show. “I feel like now I've never been happier in my life,” she added.
