After leaving “Dance Moms” in season 6, Maddie Ziegler has sworn to never return to the hit reality dance television series ever again. But since her name will forever be linked to the Lifetime show, “The Book of Henry” actress was asked about Cheryl Burke, who took over “Dance Moms” from Abby Lee Miller.
Unlike her recent interviews about her former mentor, Maddie Ziegler had nothing but good things to say about Cheryl Burke. The 14-year-old dancer, actress, businesswoman, and model even noted that having the “Dancing with the Stars” pro on the Lifetime show will be good for the dancers.
“Cheryl is a great person, so I think she'll do really well with the kids. All the girls said they loved her,” Maddie Ziegler told Entertainment Tonight. She shared that the professional dancer is really caring to the dancers, which is a huge change from her experience with Abby Lee Miller.

While the famous teen was all praise when talking about the 33-year-old dancer, model and TV Host, Maddie Ziegler’s mood quickly changed when asked about Abby Lee Miller.
"I don't really have anything to say about her," the former Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) Elite Competition Team member said.
Maddie Ziegler used to be Abby Lee Miller’s star student, so many are wondering why the former “Dance Moms” star has nothing good to say about her former mentor.
As it turns out, “The Book of Henry” actress realized that the 50-year-old dance instructor and choreographer was giving her too much pressure when she was still on the show.
"I was stressed at 11 years old, which shouldn't happen,” Maddie revealed at the time.
She then added that she's glad to be moving forward from "Dance Moms" and said, "I feel like now I've never been happier in my life."

As if that's not enough, Abby Lee Miller treated her and her younger sister Mackenzie Ziegler differently after learning that the siblings will exit the show.
The teen was hoping to leave “Dance Moms” on a good note but the famously tough dance teacher was making it hard for her.
Abby Lee Miller suddenly became extra rough on Maddie Ziegler during her last days on the show, making the teen believe that her mentor never really cared for her. Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler left “Dance Moms” to pursue their individual careers outside the hit show but Abby wasn’t too happy about their decision.
