Christina El Moussa is moving on from her divorce with estranged husband and "Flip or Flop" co-host Tarek following their controversial fight that eventually led their marriage onto the rocks. In fact, the female TV personality is allegedly in a relationship with a biz tycoon.
Who's the new guy?
A source close to the El Moussa's named Christina's rumored boyfriend Doug. The source said the two are still in the early stage of their romantic relationship, adding that the female host and her new found love have been going out for a couple of weeks now.
It was, however, revealed that Christina has known the guy for 10 years, and even dated him before she met Tarek.
ET reported that the "Flip or Flop" female host has already introduced Doug to her kids, Taylor (6) and Brayden (1). Tarek, on the other hand, is reportedly not pleased with Christina's newfound romance. In fact, the male El Moussa "has always had a sense of jealousy" over his ex-wife's relationship with the businessman.
Despite what happened in their marriage, the 33-year-old female TV personality has reportedly informed her estranged husband about her new relationship. Meanwhile, Tarek is reportedly "acting out" after learning about Doug. Similarly, the father-of-two has been going out with young women since Christina told him about Doug.
ET's news added that the male host has yet to move on from his failed marriage to Christina. Tarek seems to be unable to accept the fact that his ex-wife has completely moved forward and is currently happy with another man.
What went wrong between Christina and Tarek?
It was last year when the El Moussa's announced they were getting a divorce after an explosive fight which involved the police authorities.
Christina and Tarek were living an apparently perfect marriage for seven years before they decided to go separate ways.
The two first met while working in the real estate industry in the 2000s. They officially became Mr. and Mrs. El Moussa in 2009 and were blessed with their first child a year later. The couple were first featured on HGTV's "Flip or Flop" for the show's premiere in April 2013.
Tarek was diagnosed and treated for thyroid cancer in the same year. After that, the El Moussa's were faced with yet another challenge when the head of the family was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Tarek and Christina welcomed their son, Brayden, in 2015. The "Flip or Flop" hosts celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary on the show before their intense fight in May that led to their split.
