Buddy Valastro of "Cake Boss" on TLC has been dealing with the loss of his mom. Today, he found a great way to pay tribute to his mom. He made the decision to close his bakeries, but it was just for today. They will be back open once again tomorrow. Buddy went to the Carlo's Bakery page on Instagram to share what his plans were to pay tribute to his mom, Mary Valestro.
What did Buddy have to say?
The Instagram post said, "In observance of the mourning of the passing of Mary Valestro, Carlo's Bakery will be closed on Tuesday, June 27, 2017." After that, it went on to explain that they would open back up as normal on June 28.
The fans seem to think that this was a great idea from the comments that they are making on the post. Everyone is talking about the sending their condolences to the family and telling him they are very sorry for the loss of his mother. The fans are really being supportive during this hard time for him.
The website for Carlo's Bakery of "Cake Boss," simply says that they will be closed on June 27. It didn't explain the reason or what is going on. Now that the fans know why they were closed they are totally understanding and really just want Buddy to do what is best for the family considering his mother just passed away.
What happened to Buddy Valastro's mother?
Buddy actually went to his Instagram page and shared a lot of posts about his mother.
He said, "It’s with an extremely heavy heart that I must share the news of my mother’s passing. She left for heaven this morning, surrounded by the family. This is a difficult time for all of us, and I do ask for your patience and respect while we let this sink in. Her battle with ALS has ended, she is no longer suffering, and I hope she’s dancing to “I Will Survive” with my dad right now." This was a really sweet message for his mom that the fans love seeing from Buddy on this post.
Buddy's mother has suffered from ALS for a long time. She has been dealing with this for eight years, and even though everyone is sad she is gone, they are also happy to hear that she isn't suffering anymore. Buddy was really great about sharing with the fans what was going on and that he hopes his mom is dancing once again.
It is obvious that he misses his mom but also sees the good in her living without pain.
