Amber Portwood and Matt Baier may actually be done for good. On the latest episode of "Teen Mom OG: Unseen Moments," which aired on MTV on Monday night, June 19, Portwood admitted that she and Baier were at odds after he was accused of sending secret text messages to another woman during the episode of "Teen Mom OG" that aired prior.
After facing trust issues in her relationship, Portwood admitted that she wasn't sleeping well due to the stress that her romance with Baier had caused. She also admitted, according to a report by OK! Magazine on June 20, that she and Baier were no longer engaged.
Continuing on, Amber Portwood said on tape that she had kicked Baier out of her Indiana home the night before she traveled to film. As she explained, Baier spent the night in a hotel before returning to their shared home in an effort to work things out with the longtime reality star and mother of eight-year-old Leah Shirley.
Would Amber ever take Matt back?
During the "Unseen Moments" special, Amber Portwood was asked by host Nessa Diab if she would ever take her ex-fiance back and also questioned her about what it would take to consider a reconciliation. In response, Portwood said that Baier would have to be willing "to change." Then, after Diab asked what it was that Baier needed to work on, Portwood told her, "everything."
Portwood went on to reveal that if Baier truly wants to reconcile their relationship, he's going to have stop lying, specifically, she added, he's going to have to quit being a "huge pathological liar." She even told Diab that she believed Baier needed help for his lying tendencies and accused him of lying to every woman he's ever been with.
According to Portwood, things with her and Baier used to be different but now, their relationship simply isn't something she's willing to settle for.
Amber and Matt are taking their troubles to another reality show
After wrapping filming on the second half of "Teen Mom OG" season six, Portwood and Baier traveled to Los Angeles to begin production on "marriage boot camp: Reality Stars." As fans of the series well know, the show follows a group of couples as they participate in single and group therapy sessions in hopes of getting their relationships to a healthier place.
