The Brown Family moves to California as their matriarch, Ami Brown, undergoes some testing due to recent health concerns. The "Alaskan Bush People" Season 7 premiere episode shows the family trying to be strong while facing the unknown.

Ami tries to remain tough

Ami tells Billy that she is in so much pain, and she can't take it anymore. “Good Lord will take care of us, he always does,” Billy reassures his wife. Ami says she can handle it because she's tough, adding that they went through other obstacles and survived a sinking boat with babies.

Billy shared on "Alaskan Bush People" the initial diagnosis of Ami's health.

The first doctor they went to found nodes in her throat through an MRI and recommended they consult another doctor. They did a test on her chest and said Ami needs to undergo a biopsy because they found a mass on Ami's lungs that they believe could be cancerous. The diagnosis has shaken the Browns, with Billy saying that from that moment of hearing the gravity of Ami's sickness, everything seemed to change.

Matt and Snowbird talked about what they are going through while they are waiting for the results of the tests. "Nobody wants to say the word cancer," Snowbird said. In the confessional, Snowbird said they encountered several challenges in life, obstacles that tried to bring them down, but they were able to fix them.

Their situation right now is the hardest, "Because they can't fix it," she added.

Brown family leaves Browntown

According to Discovery, while Ami needed to undergo treatment, the Browns left the Alaskan bush. Noah stayed behind to take care of their homestead. Gabe admitted that it is difficult to be far from their home and from doing the things they like.

Not knowing what is going to happen makes the situation even harder for them. Everything is changing, and Billy said they would have to leave the bush. Matt also stated they need to pack up and go.

Stage 4 cancer

The "Alaskan Bush People" Season 7 is revealing the details as the events unfold, so there was not much information in the first episode.

However, a source reportedly confirmed to the Facebook page called "ABP Exposed" that Ami has stage 4 lung cancer.

The Brown family, including Bam and Allison, are reportedly in Arizona now. They left Los Angeles this week for an unspecified reason. Previous rumors said chemotherapy and radiation treatment have done nothing to slow down Ami's condition. It is not clear whether Noah already left Browntown as well and joined the rest of his family.
